Martell has been involved with the performing arts ever since he was a child. Having caught the acting bug when he was young, he appeared on The Bill, London’s Burning and Dempsy and Makepeace to name but a few.
Although he is rather embarrassed to admit, he was also a child model.
Not just a pretty face, with flare for the dance floor, Martell has been actively involved in numerous street dancing troupes and appeared in West End Shows including ‘Dancing in the Streets’.
An all round entertainer, singing has always been his main passion. Coming from a formidable recording background, Martell career is as varied as his talent. Having sung as a key member of numerous bands, touring both the UK and Europe, he has performed on cruise ships and as a solo vocalist in his own right.
A regular on the London singing scene, Martell’s infectious personality and raw talent is in high demand. With regular performances at the infamous cabaret venue, Pigalle in Leicester Square and other London venues including, 10 Rooms, The Spot, Troy Bar and Fridge Bar, where Martell has not only hosted their open mic nights but has sang backing vocals for the likes of Amy Winehouse, Angie Stone, Will Smith, and Westlife to name but a few.
Martell joined 'Motowns Greatest Hits - How Sweet It Is' at the end of 2006, and his vocal and choreography skills are extremely evident in his powerful and energetic performances, not to mention his cheeky humor, individual in his own right.
