Peter Brent Promotions was created in 2002 by partner’s Peter Brent and Arlene Johnson, in order to forward idea’s derived from shows that Peter had recently taken part in.
‘Motown’s Greatest Hits – How Sweet It Is’ was originally a tribute to The Four Tops, but very soon became so much more, as we realised very early that there was a great market for a much broader show.
We have had 4 different vocal groups involved with our show, but our current line up, affectionately know as ‘The Motown Brothers’, have been with us for 5 years now, a testament to their dedication to bring you the best Motown experience ever.
We no longer consider ‘Motown’s Greatest Hits – How Sweet It Is’ to be a tribute show, as we cover songs from almost all of the original male artists associated with the Tamla Motown label. ‘The Motown Brothers’, Martell, Geo, Jordan, IMR and Del all have their own unique image and identity, and do not try to be, look or sound like any original artist, more so, they are an act in their own right, and probably one of the most liked black vocal groups around today. They are also all extremely accomplished dancers, and the energy and excitement of their routines is second to none, and will leave you absolutely mesmerised.
Their own first class band backs ‘Motown’s Greatest Hits – How Sweet It Is’, and all our musicians are among the best the UK has to offer.
‘Motown’s Greatest Hits How Sweet It Is’ is a totally live experience, we use no pre recorded backing tracks whatsoever, so what you see is what you get, great Motown music, played as it should be played, live for that great Motown feel.
